AUDIENCE COMMENT – In order to hear all citizen comments at a reasonable hour, the City Council requests that speakers respect the three-minute time limit. This is not a question-answer session. However, it is an opportunity to voice your thoughts with City Council. Speakers wishing to display visual materials through the City’s audiovisual system must provide the materials to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 12:00 P.M. the day of the meeting. The materials cannot be changed before the meeting.
 
CONSENT AGENDA REMOVALS AND APPROVALS (See items A-M) All items listed under Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion.  There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Council Member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered at the end of the normal Agenda. 
 
MATTERS FOR COUNCIL ACTION

1. Approval to enter into final design and bid the construction contract for Lakeshore Park renovations to include:
Option A: A community building approximately 6,200 square feet to be used for PRCS programming.
           Or
Option B: A community building approximately 9,200 square feet to be used for PRCS programming. Building design will include a Lending Library Kiosk operated by the Novi Public Library and space for additional Library programs and services. The building may also serve as an election polling location.

F. Approval of amended Resolution clarifying Recreation Passport (RP) grant application cost match for renovating the Tim Pope playground at ITC Community Sports Park, per Michigan Department of Natural Resources recommendation. Total estimated development cost, including $150,000 grant, remains $409,000. The Resolution match amount is being amended from a minimum required 25 percent at $37,500 to now be 63 percent at $259,000 in order to reflect the full existing budgeted amount.

G. Approval to award civil engineering services to Spalding DeDecker for design engineering services associated with the Bosco Park Property project in the amount of $85,225.00.

H. Approval to award civil engineering services to Spalding DeDecker for design engineering and inspection services associated with the South Lake Drive Storm Sewer and Storm Structure Rehabilitation project in the amount of $50,850.00.

I. Approval of the final payment to Bricco Excavating Company, LLC, for the 8 Mile Water Main (from Turnberry Boulevard to Club Lane) project in the amount of $2,561.34, plus interest earned on retainage.
